Once Upon a 2016, I made a commitment. A commitment to step into music in a bigger, more intentional way. To let it flow through me and also out of me without considering how it might turn out. To share in whatever way the songs asked to be sung. Some came in the form of morning instrumental meditation, some in Spanish, some flowing like poetry, some like messages or sound healing, some about gratitude/unconditional love, and all with Spirit behind them.

Originally, I booked a recording date in November 2016 to record live full-band versions of originals I had written over the years. Life however, had a different plan. As the date approached full-band recording didn't align and in my heart, I knew I still needed to go and lay down some music.

I call these songs Spirit Songs because the morning I walked into the recording space, I took my shoes off, and recorded whatever songs asked to be sung. The ones that arrived are very special to my heart for different reasons. They are personal but I also think they are Universal. A quote was shared with me the other day that says a gift isn't a gift if we don't share it. So, here I am, sharing what's been given to me to give to you. It is with gratitude I offer these raw, simple, heart-centered songs. Without perfectionistic ideals from my earth feet, through my being, out my mouth.
